Responding to the rapid change and awareness of the revolutionary stage of the country’s development, the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (Ramseyer Memorial Congregation, Adum-Kumasi) fulfilling her Christian service responsibility started the Ramseyer Institute Project. This was an Agricultural and Vocational Training Centre at the lake road mile 6, Kumasi. The official establishment day of the Ramseyer Institute was on Friday, October 1, 1976, with her first Warden/Principal as Rev. G.C. Fliegenschnee.
